That’s why before we leave, we take the time to blow off any fertilizer from sidewalks, driveways, patios, etc.
A healthy and actively growing lawn requires more nutrients than the soil can provide.

There are two classifications of fertilizer and each feeds the lawn in different ways.
Synthetic Lawn Fertilizer
Synthetic Fertilizer feeds the lawn directly, not through the soil.
Once applied and watered in, the nutrients are readily available to the grass plant. Every Fertilizer and Weed Control Package we offer includes three applications of our premium synthetic fertilizer.
One of this fertilizer’s exceptional qualities is the way nutrients are packaged. Every tiny granule of fertilizer includes not only Nitrogen – Phosphorus – Potassium (N-P-K) but also micronutrients like, manganese, sulfur and boron to name a few.
These nutrients are also derived from sources and packaged with a technology that allows the grass plant to easily absorb them.
Not only are these nutrients easily absorbed by the roots, but the nutrients are released in a controlled manner over a 10-12 week period (this is high quality vs. 4 to 6 weeks with “high quality” garden centre brands).
Inferior fertilizers with little to no time-release characteristics allow nutrients to leach past the root system and into our water table or evaporate into the atmosphere.
This does not occur with Weed Pro’s premium synthetic fertilizer.
Organic Lawn Fertilizer
Organic Fertilizer does not feed the grass plant directly.
Rather it helps maintain the health of the soil, which indirectly helps the overall health of the grass plant. Each of Weed Pro’s three organic Fertilizer and Weed Control Packages utilizes arguably the best organic fertilizer in the turf industry.
This product aims to stimulate soil microbes and re-mineralize tired soils. The source of the fertilizer’s nutrients and how they are processed is again what sets Weed Pro’s organic fertilizer apart in the turf industry.
There are many different organic products on the market that put a sticker on their packaging without detailing the nutrients contained within.
However, there are many sources/forms of organic nutrients which cannot be absorbed by the grass plant nor do they help unlock nutrients tied up in the soil. Sadly, many organic fertilizers on the market produce poor results.
